Vendor: ASAP

Software Titles Covered: Media and licenses for Microsoft software titles not provided through the CSU/Microsoft Campus Agreement to faculty and staff, such as and Work-At-Home (WAH) media, may be purchased at a significant discount by departments directly from the bookstore or our software vendor.

Work-At-Home (WAH) licensing is provided for specific Microsoft desktop applications to faculty and staff members of the CSU. Along with the licensing, the CSU also receives Microsoft Software Assurance which covers the products for any new releases that come out during the three-year term of the contract. Work-at-home media is provided to faculty and staff under licensing separate from the VLK media in the Campus Agreement. WAH media is licensed by Microsoft for installation on personal machines used for work at home.

WAH media for Microsoft Windows XP Professional, Microsoft Office 2003 Suite, and FrontPage 2003 can be purchased individually through the Hornet Bookstore. All other Microsoft software titles must be purchased by offices or program groups through the campus software vendor. WAH media that is sold through the software vendor can only be purchased in bundles of 25 CD's for $6/CD. License activation and registration is required for each WAH installation.

Adobe and Symantec products are also available for purchase.

License Details: Select Agreement provides for the purchase of a wide array of Microsoft software titles. The license and a copy of the media must be purchased. WAH media must be ordered by departments in minimum quantities of 25 for distribution to their work-at-home staff using privately-owned machines. NOTE: There is an issue with the shared shopping cart that ASAP is currently working on. As of right now, there is no way to hide your cart number from someone if you order online. Until ASAP resolves this issue, Eway can be used to research a software purchase but orders should be called directly to Matt Radzinski, not placed online.

To order software online from ASAP:
1 - Go to www.asap.com .
2 - Access the EWay site (left hand side, about halfway down the page).

3 – In the Tool Bar, go to “Order Management”, click on “Start a New Order”.
4 - Name the order cart so that you have easy future access to the order. Click Next.
5 - Identify your products using the ASAP Item numbers in the quote.
6 - Update any quantity changes and add to cart (circle +).
7 - To order additional items, click on “Add More Products”.
8 - When you’re done shopping, select ‘Checkout’.
9 - Select your shipping address & complete payment information with your P-Card.
10 - The order will be immediately received by ASAP and processed.

Software Titles Covered: Macromedia products are distributed via download from the CSU Chancellor's Office. A few of the most popular titles are Dreamweaver, Director, and Flash.
